House Fire: Savannah Rowan & Derick Durbin
Beschermde donatie
Hello everyone! We are reaching out on behalf of our sister Savannah and her boyfriend Derick, who tragically lost everything in a house fire early morning April 8th in Sherman, NY. As many of you know he's been unemployed since the start of COVID-19, and she’s currently working toward her Nursing degree at Mercyhurst while working at the Resource House in Westfield, NY.
Anyone who knows her knows she’s one of the most caring and thoughtful people in the world, always looking out for friends and family. Our family is reaching out to ask for donations as they help reestablish their life. Of particular need are donations of:
- household items and furniture as they rebuild
- women's shoes size 9, pants size 4 and medium shirts
- men's shoes size 10 1/2 or 11, 32x32 pants and medium shirts, large long sleeved shirts
- appliances and electronics
Any donations will be accepted and can be arranged safely. Tangible items can be dropped off locally at: 4881 Lewis Road, Bemus Point NY 14712.
We are asking that you please let us know if you plan to drop something off so we can keep an eye out for it and be prepared to receive, as we recognize this may be difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The road to recovery will be long and more needs will pop up as they move forward with the next steps. We sincerely appreciate any good karmic vibes you send our way and of course any assistance provided during this time.
If you prefer to donate monetarily, we’ve set up this gofundme site which will be used for major purchases like a new computer for school and finding a new place to live.
For anyone in Northern VA or the Charleston, SC area with gently used items you are interested in donating, please reach out to Karrie or Shannon to arrange drop off.
Thank you!
Karrie, Shannon & Michael
