I made a little something..

It's just gonna be the 2 of us and I wouldn't have it any other way. But I say that with a quivering voice and buckets of tears. Aside from now being in an urgent living situation, there's a whole other level of troubles and concern.

*I can make due, but she can't. I've come to accept I can't do this alone and this is me humbly and graciously asking for help*

Baby (name still in limbo, 24 hrs to decide!) was born 5.5 weeks early on Tuesday the 13th, 5lb 3oz via emergency c-section, with spina bifida.

Between finding out late, her arriving very early, insurance only covering my side of things (as I'm at Howard University and she was immediately taken to Children's Hospital for surgery and testing.. I didn't even get to fully hold her and we have been separated in agony since) and now having to rehome us asap.. we're in for a very long journey in just a few days.

So I am asking for anything if you CAN and want to. Please no negativity, it's unnecessary. Any donation (towards her bills and overall care, hand me downs, overflow items, something you make, notes, visits, advice, or leads on anything for rent) will truly change our lives. I will gladly get to any questions as I get answers.

I'm truly beside myself at the moment. My priorities and focus has never been more clear. Your kindness and generosity will not be taken for granted- It will allow us to start our life together in the way she deserves. Even though I feel defeated, insufficient, and alone- I am chosing to believe that someone up above knew she's exactly what I am still here for.. and I refuse to disappoint.
