Hoover Eco Action Outdoor Classroom

Hi, my name is Hans Anderson.  Thank you so much for opening this go fund me to read our story.   I am currently working on my Eagle Scout rank and have chosen Hoover Elementary School to build an Eco Action Outdoor Interactive Classroom/Garden.  Hoover is where I began my scouting journey with Pack 907 and this is a way that I can give back to my scouting community, my wonderful elementary school and the surrounding community.

By building this classroom , Hoover Elementary School will have an outdoor space that will have terraced seating, individual garden rings for each classroom that can be utilized for student projects, fence screens that can be utilized to hang class projects from, a community garden area, and selective local plant life/landscaping that can be utilized for teaching lessons.   In addition, this classroom will assist Hoover Elementary to achieve their Green School Certification from the National Wildlife Federation.  They may be the first elementary school in Michigan to do so as they currently are one of three schools in Michigan to have a Silver Certification.
