HoodEx CIC Youth Club & Boxing Gym

Hi my name is Ricky and I'm the founder of HoodEx CIC which operates from the interchange where we sell pre-loved and retro hoodies and use the funds to pay for gym memberships and 1-1 training for young people at risk of offending in the area.

We've recently secured the tenancy of a 3 storey building on the market square and have created a boxing gym plus we have a downstairs area where we want young people to be able to hang out in a safe environment.

We will soon offer free access to our gym space in the market square, providing:

- Boxing lessons from a Level 2 certified coach

- MMA training by an experienced martial artist

- Women's weekly fitness sessions

- Men's weekly fitness sessions

- Women's only boxing case

- Daily HIIT circuit sessions

- Wellness sessions

We will then use the surroundings to teach them vocational skills and promote health & fitness from a boxing gym ran by a fully qualified level 2 boxing coach with 22 years military experience.

This fundraiser will help pay for the materials needed to fix the building and the general running of HoodEx as we get it off the ground properly, including core costs.

This will help cut youth offending and ASB in the town centre.
