The Edmonton Islamic Academy is looking to raise money to benefit the ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM through Islamic Relief Canada.
EIA has been sponsoring Muslim orphans from under-developed countries for the last three consecutive years. We started with 1 orphan, and to date we have 10 orphans who have been benefiting from the yearly sponsorship provided by our Academy.
We completely appreciate and understand the financial strain many members from our community are facing due to Covid-19 and we do not want to add any additional financial pressure to you at this time. However, if we do not work collectively as a group to collect $10, 000 to keep these sponsorship's active, these orphans will lose the simple basic needs such as food, water, shelter and the opportunity to become self-sufficient and independent provided by the sponsorship program.
At the start of Ramadan we are simply asking you to contribute the following:
First 10 days: Donate $1.00
Second 10 days: Donate $2.00
Last 10 days: Donate $3.00
