Honors Service Learning Fundraiser

Donation protected
In 2014, New Hanover High School started the Honors Service Learning program. This class is for juniors and seniors who are in class two days a week and then volunteer in the community on the other days or on weekends. Students commit at least 40 hours of service at one of our service sites. We currently partner with over 30 different organizations in the Wilmington, NC area. Students also come together as a class to identify a need in our community or school, and find a way to meet it. By participating in this program students learn about leadership, professionalism, and issues in the community and world. By donating to this program you will fund student-led service projects, helping to create future world changers.  You will also be benefitting the Wilmington community as the students will be actively engaged in finding a way to solve a problem in our city. We would like to secure these funds by August 21, so that we will enter the new school year excited and ready to make a plan to help others. Your support will show these students that they can dream big and that they can truly make an impact when they have the support of others. I am so grateful for your help in making this program bigger and better than ever!
