In Loving Memory
Agustin Antonio Ponce, lovingly known as Tony, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. His passing has left a hole not only in our family, but in the entire community he was a part of.
Tony was so proud to be a grandpa. It wasn’t just a title to him, it was who he was. He loved every single one of his kids and grandkids with his whole heart, and that love was obvious in everything he did. Showing up with care, generosity, and strength.
My grandpa had a heart that extended far beyond his family. He showed kindness to everyone who crossed his path kids, adults, neighbors in his building, dogs, squirrels, etc. If you knew him, you felt seen. If you needed something, he gave it without hesitation. Giving was simply part of who he was.
He loved his football, never missed a chance to watch or talk about it. He loved Jeopardy, and he loved staying informed always updating us on the news, always engaged with the world around him. These were the small, everyday moments that now mean the whole world to us.
His absence hurts deeply. It hurts our family, and it hurts the community that came to know him and rely on his warmth and hello’s. He truly was the best grandpa, the kind of person whose love lingers long after he’s gone.
We will carry him with us in our conversations, in our memories, and in the way we choose kindness, just like he did.
As this is a difficult time for the family, we are asking if you would like to help with some funeral expenses. Every donation that is made, we truly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. God bless you all.
