Celebrating the Life of Susan Werner Sibenik
This past Easter Sunday, we lost someone incredibly special -- our beloved Susan Werner Sibenik. She was the heart of our family: a devoted wife to Paul, an incredible mother to her two children, Teadora and Mitchell, and a true friend to all who knew her.
Sue had a gift for caring - not just for people, but for every living thing. She worked at White Oak Animal Hospital, where she poured her heart into caring for animals and comforting the people who loved them. Sue's world was filled with the same nurturing spirit at home. She loved cooking, gardening, and hosting gatherings -- especially around the holidays. She had spent the entire day before Easter preparing a brunch for her friends and family. She had all the food and drinks planned out, the desserts prepared, and the pastel-colored tablecloths ready to go. Little did she know that all these preparations would instead go to feeding all the friends and family that came to give their condolences and grieve together.
Sue was born in Rochester, NY, attending Mother of Sorrows, Cardinal Mooney and then Angelica Central School to finish her High School years. Later, she moved to Virgina and married Paul Sibenik in 1996 and they raised Tea and Mitchell in Fredericksburg.
If you're able to contribute, we are very grateful. And even if you can't donate, sharing this or simply holding our family in your heart and prayers means the world.
Thank you for being part of Sue's life, and for helping us honor hers.
