Honoring Sonia: A Fund for Funeral Expenses

Our beloved mother, grandma, sister and friend Sonia Ordonez passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 19, 2024.

She fought bravely against pancreatic cancer over the past two years, undergoing chemo, radiation and a drug trial. She tried to hold on and fight. Despite the hardships of her journey, she continued to dance, enjoy nature and spend time with those she loved.

She will be remembered for her independence, her dynamic energy and her humor. She also will be remembered for her kindness and hospitality, especially at her job at Baba's Bakery in Madison NJ, where she was a fixture for customers and employees alike.

She will be missed as a source of love, support and inspiration -- an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on.

To commemorate all she has done for her family, friends and community, we are seeking donations that will go towards her services, burial and all associated expenses.
