Hello, my name is Violetta, and I am raising funds to help fulfill my best friend’s funeral wishes and to help his mother, Martha Velazquez, lay him to rest.

On January 2, at approximately 2:00 a.m., my best friend was tragically killed by a drunk driver near 59th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. This unimaginable loss has left his family and loved ones completely heartbroken.

He was the most loving, affectionate, and kind person I have ever known. He had an incredibly strong faith in God and praised Him daily. He prayed for everyone he met and touched lives in the most beautiful way. No one ever imagined that his life would be taken in such a sudden and tragic way.

He was only 34 years old and was taken from his children, his family, his mother, Martha Velazquez, and his brother, Ceasar, who loved and adored him deeply. I have been his best friend for 22 years, and I can truly say he was someone I loved and cherished my entire life. Losing him has been absolutely devastating.

We are asking for donations of any amount, even just one dollar, to help bring his mother peace knowing her son will be laid to rest with dignity.
