Home addition, contractor problems

We need help paying for our home addition. We got a criminal contractor through Home Advisor. He took $11,200 from us. It is costing us $14,200 to finish our home addition. The additional is due to having to redo some things that our previous contractor did, in order to pass inspection. This addition is for a better quality of our home life, not just to have a bigger house. We sincerely appreciate any help to get this done!
