Holiday support for Stephenson county

This holiday season Will Fletcher, owner of No Rest Till Success, and I have partnered to help families in need. Having been homeless myself, I know how valuable something such as a clean pair of socks can be and how much it can raise ones spirits. 
 We will be placing donation bins at different local businesses in an effort to gather things such as school supplies, children’s presents ,  hygiene products, socks, and undergarments. All donations will be given to the Salvation Army to distribute. In addition we have set a $1,000 goal to purchase a food truck through the  Salvation Army.  The truck location will likely be in the city lot downtown Freeport with the Salvation Army’s help.  Contents of the truck will include enough provisions to feed 300-400 people well balanced meals. The truck will consist of produce, fruit, meat, and canned goods and will require about four hours of labor and 20 volunteers to distribute.  Will and I are honored to have the opportunity to spread positive energy and help those who need it most and look forward to make a lasting change in the community.
