In Loving Memory of Holden William McEwen Hoff

Hello, my name is Connie and I have set up this fundraiser for my lifelong friend Melanie & her partner Ken who are experiencing the most devastating loss of their youngest son.

Holden Hoff suddenly passed away unexpectedly on August 5 at the young age of 12. Holden was the funniest, kindest, and most thoughtful boy who touched the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, Melanie, father, Ken, sister, Bailey (Morgan), and older brothers Hayden and Bryson as well as many extended family and friends. There are no words to describe the pain & sadness, we are all feeling.

The family is already suffering in so many ways, so the financial worry of putting their child to rest should not be another. With their permission, I am asking you for a donation. Any amount big or small will help so that this young man can be laid to rest with honor and celebrated by all those who loved him.

At this time there are no answers for how or why this happened. Unfortunately those answers are going to take some time. Both Mel and Ken will need some time home from work and any extra monies they receive will go towards their families needs.

Update: There will be a viewing for Holden on Monday, August 12 from 2-4pm at Grace Memorial in Vanderhoof at 253 Stewart St W.

The family has chosen to celebrate Holdens life by gathering for a weekend of camping at Bear Lake (Crooked River Provincial Park) on August 16th & 17th. Please join them for a weekend of camping if you wish. We will be trying to get as many sites saved at the campsite as we may need. But they will be first come first served.

If you are not able to camp for the weekend there will be a final farewell for Holden on Saturday (Aug. 17). The family welcomes you to join them from 11am onwards. There will be a BBQ held in Holden’s honour at 3pm. ❤️
