Dr. Christine Matthews Dalton , 28, of Miami, FL passed away on November 13, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Shane, parents Eve & Richard Matthews and siblings Robert, Anne, and Joseph. She graduated in the 1st FIU Medical School Class of 2013.
Christine was beloved by her classmates and the faculty at FIU's Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. She truly personified the world class, culturally sensitive, and professionally competent physician the Herbert Werthiem College of Medicine aimed to educate. She will be greatly missed and a scholarship has been created in memoriam at her medical school alma mater.
