Hiwot Yerdaw Welcome Corps

Hello everyone,

We're reaching out to our community to support the journey of Hiwot Yerdaw and her two family members through the Welcome Corps program.

Welcome Corps offers an opportunity for U.S. citizens to sponsor refugees and provide them with a chance to start a new life in the United States. After being sponsored, Hiwot and her family will have the opportunity to enter the U.S. and receive a social security card to secure employment.

We have established a group of sponsors in Silver Spring, Maryland that is ready to provide assistance and support for the family upon their arrival. All funds raised will go directly towards ensuring their successful settlement during the crucial initial 90 days. We need to raise $2500 for each person, so our total goal is $7500. Your contribution, no matter the amount, will greatly impact the family's transition and integration into their new community.
