Higsby's Surface Pro Tablet Repairs
Hi! My name is Andrew! I'm currently a full time self-employed digital artist that goes by the name Higsby. My work is mostly done working on tablets. A few months ago my Surface Pro got broken when the backpack it was in fell and hit the ground hard enough to bash the corner and cracked the whole screen, rendering touch and pen sensitivity useless. This was a huge blow to the amount of work I could get done, and has been a stressful time trying to save up for repairs. Although I have another tablet I can work on, it keeps me tied to my desk, where as my Surface Pro could go with me anywhere and I'd be able to get extra work done, whether it be at a friends, or while traveling or just as an excuse not to look at the one corner of my bedroom all day every day.
The reason I am raising funds is to help fix my tablet, as well as pay it off, and potentially buy a protective hardcase and carrying case to prevent problems like this in the future. The estimated repairs are $500, but thats assuming the screen and service fees are the only issue. The reason I am asking more is to also help paying off my tablet as well, which I initially bought using Amazon's payment plan. Because this year has been extremely financially stressful on me, I haven't been able to keep up with payments for it, and unless I pay that off by January, I'll be slammed with about at least $200 of accumulated interest.
If I can raise at the very least $500 to cover the repair fee's I'll be extreemly greatful! I hate asking for financial help, but if I can repair this tablet, or potentially relieve some of the financial stress of paying it off, I might actually be able to catch up on more art and eventually get back to a point where I can create pieces for myself, something which I havent had the time to do in months.
