YPNHS 10th Grade Spring Trip Fund

Every year, students of Houston's Yes Prep get the opportunity to travel to other cities to experience new environments and visit colleges. This annual Spring Trip is, for some students, their only opportunity to travel beyond the city limits of Houston. With a goal of 100% acceptance to 4-year institutions upon graduation, providing opportunities for students to develop a college-going mindset is crucial throughout their entire HS career and Sring Trip offers a unique experience outside of their comfort zone of Houston.
In March 2019, we are ambitiously taking our 10th-grade students of Yes Prep Northbrook High School to Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta was chosen as it is a city that has many post-secondary and professional options and is a distance that many students have not had the opportunity to travel.
The trip would consist of at least 2 college visits, a trip to the Human Rights Museum, and more.
Our goal is to take 100 students on this trip, but the possibility of reaching this goal is directly related to our fundraising efforts!
