Son días para reflexionar, pero también para actuar. Recuerda que nunca sabemos en qué momento vamos a necesitar una mano amiga.
Algunos docentes de las escuelas públicas en DC nos informaron que tenían padres de estudiantes sin trabajo y preocupados porque no había dinero para alimentar a sus hijos. Por lo tanto, decidimos recaudar fondos entre varios amigos y logramos repartir 12 mercados esta semana. Sin embargo, tenemos más familias que requieren de nuestra ayuda, así que esta es una invitación para llenar la barriguita de los niños que son el futuro del mundo, y como ya tu sabes, algunos han vivido situaciones muy difíciles para llegar a este país. No los podemos abandonar, así como tampoco te abandonaremos si te toca vivir una situación difícil. Somos una comunidad unida y no podemos dejar a nuestros niños con hambre. En las foto pueden ver el mercado que se les esta enviando. Colabora con lo que puedas, todo cuenta. ¡GRACIAS!

Cómo será el proceso:
1. Identificamos a las familias de los estudiantes que más necesitan alimentos.
2. El costo por mercado son $40 por familia.
3. Se piden los alimentos y reparten por Amazon a la puerta de su casa.
4. Las familias estarán felices y agradecidas. :)

These are days to REFLECT, but also to ACT. Remember, we never know when WE will need a helping hand.
Some teachers from DC Public Schools informed us that some of their students' parents have lost their jobs, and they are worried they won't have money to feed their children. Therefore, we decided to raise funds among several friends and managed to distribute 12 grocery deliveries this week. However, we have more families that need our help, so this is an invitation to fill the tummy of the children who are the future of the world, and as you know, some have experienced very difficult situations to come to this country. We have to show up for them, just as we would show up for you if you have to go through a difficult situation. We are a united community and we cannot leave our children hungry. In our pictures, you can see the deliveries that are being sent. Please donate what you can, everything counts. THANK YOU!

Our process is as follows:
1. We identify the families of students who are in most need of food.
2. The cost of groceries is $40 per family.
3. The groceries are ordered and delivered by Amazon, straight to their door.
5. Families will be happy and grateful :)
