In times of crisis, communities unite in incredible ways, with helpers and heroes leading the charge. COVID-19 presents a time of unprecedented change and hardship, but together we stand strong...even while socially distant.

We are #CommunityFirst, and we can do so much more than just stay at home.  We can help the thousands of medical professionals and volunteers braving the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak, putting their lives at risk every day.

#CommunityFirst is seeking donations of any amount so that we, along with all of our partners, can provide free meals to our #HeroesWithoutMasks

Partnering with local restaurants, we can give back to these #HeroesWithoutMasks while supporting our small business community. #SmallBusinessRelief

How it started?

A simple act of kindness has a ripple effect.

The COVID-19 health crisis began to sweep the nation, hospitals began to receive an influx in patients, and the restaurant industry began to suffer from economic hardships.

Pizza to a friend in Baltimore over at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center was just the beginning.  The response was overwhelming. Who would have thought that a meal like pizza would lead to so much excitement and hope?

Our friends asked us how they could contribute and share that community bond.

At the same time, we realized that so many of our friends in the local restaurant industry are hurting deeply. These businesses and their employees are suffering, and could use our help now more than ever. We will all need to work together to support the small businesses that are an integral part of our cultural fabric.

We asked ourselves what we could do while observing necessary social distancing.

We can share hope, warmth, strength, and a unifying cause.  We are all in this unprecedented crisis together.

We are #CommunityFirst, linking small restaurant businesses with local healthcare professionals in need.
