Hero Coffee Bar

I purchased Hero Coffee Bar just a little over a year ago. It has been incredible experience and since then Hero has contributed over $3,000.00 Dollars in Charitable donations, employed 35 wonderful human beings, and has positively touched the lives of many Chicago Heroes. 

COVID-19 has brought many restaurants to it's knees. Hero included. I have had to close 3 locations leaving more than half of my staff without jobs. My Hero Ambassadors are the life blood of Hero Coffee Bar and they embody our mission "to positively impact our communities one meaningful cup at a time."  Many of these fine Heroes who you have come to known are struggling. 

Some have been evicted from student housing with little time to prepare and no where to go. Others have families they support outside of feeding themselves such as parents who cannot work due to disability, and others are alone and marginalized from families solely for who they love.    

This is an uneasy time and while I have been cutting costs and ensuring every penny is accounted it will not be enough. So I am asking for help. I know that the only way we can all get through this is by sticking together and staying positive.

This Go Fund Me will be to help fund labor costs so that I can continue to offer hours for the 2 locations that are currently open. Along with ensuring we can weather the storm and be able to re open all locations so that our Heroes have jobs to come back to when this passes.
