Her Name Was Carmen Staff Support

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we were forced to temporarily close until the city considers it’s safe to host our guests again.
As you all know, we have worked very hard to make our dear Carmen a safe welcoming gathering place for all New Yorkers. As much as we would like to continue to be of service at this time of uncertainty, we need to do what is best to protect our team, our loyal clientele, our neighbors and our community in general.

Our staff members are like family; they are the heart and soul of our business and we must take care of one another. In an effort to continue to support our staff and their families in these difficult times, we are raising money from our community of beloved regulars, neighbors, friends & family to provide immediate relief to help offset our staff’s lost income. While we hope the government will soon provide assistance to our team, the future is unclear. 100% of proceeds raised will be donated directly to our employees.

As we continue to be safe and take care of each other, please consider making a donation to help support our dear team. Every single dollar counts.

We thank you all for your constant support. We can’t wait to welcome you all back as soon as we can safely and responsibly do so. In the meantime we encourage you to stay home and be kind and helpful to everyone.
