HEPA (Help Eridicate Poverty & Aids) Kenya

Meet my amazing Kenyan friend, Ann. We met on my first trip to Kenya in 2009. She needs our help!

In 2009, Ann founded HEPA (Help Eradicate Poverty and Aids), a registered Non-Governmental organization that seek to reduce the spread of HIV,impact of  AIDS and poverty reduction. She has done so much amazing work and is now ready to expand.

Here is the vision Ann came to me with to expand HEPA (she actually sent me a whole formal proposal but I think her words sum it up perfectly):

"I will start a place where mothers can leave babies at subsides pay and I can take care of them. Am talking of mothers who are unfortunate, at the same time help them learn income generating activities like bead work, soap making, tie and dye, mat making etc, out of that they can make small money to help their families." - Ann

In order to start this daycare, Ann needs our help. Start up costs will be approximately $2,000 to furnish the place and get started with rent. From there, she has a plan to sustain this on her own. 

Ann and I would appreciate the support so much and will do our best to share photos and progress as it comes.  Anything helps. I promise your money will be well spent and go to supporting children and mothers who truly need it.
