The church in the pictures is St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church of Laurel MS, pastored by Reverend Wilson Rice. Pastor Wilson Rice is 95 years old and has been in ministry for 68 years. As far as we know, Pastor Rice is one of the oldest active pastor in America. He still chauffeurs his lovely wife of 73 years, First Lady Eva Rice. St. Luke MB Church has stood as a cornerstone in the community for over six decades.
The church hired contractors to repair damages from the hurricane on two separate occasions, but were swindled for their money. The church has been unable to recover from the losses and the damages have become extensive. Yet, they still hold service every Sunday for the current members.

Our plans are to donate our time and resources to restore St. Luke MB Church, this restoration will require a lot of labor and materials. Your donations will go to funding this effort and help us get started right away. With your help, we are going to connect this church with the community by getting their programs back up and running i.e. (Sunday School, Bible Study, Food Pantry, Daycare, Community Wellness, Vacation Bible School for kids).
Your donations will help give St. Luke MB Church a new start in providing help, hope, healing and faith to a lot of people. We feel that it is truly vital at this present moment in the world, to bring love, healing and restoration to God’s people.
