Help Stew Stand Up

Stewart has a neurological disorder that has affected his legs.  He has to be in a wheelchair all day long and it is beginning to hurt his hip and curve his spine, causing a great deal of spasms and pain. 

His kidney and bladder are also not performing as well because of too much sitting. As his leg muscles grow weaker, it is harder and harder to help him transfer and do daily activities of living.

We would like to get him an Easy Stand Glider  >(Easy Stand Glider Video <link) that was invented by a paraplegic.  The standing and exercise will help the pain, improve circulation of the kidney/bladder, keep his bones strong, diminish spasms and help develop new neural pathways.

Insurance will not cover standing devices as they are not seen as necessary but as we know, standing is very important for good health.

Stew has the potential to heal and maybe walk again but only if he can gain strength and new neural pathways.
