Imagine caring so much about our planet that you face tough times for it. Some climate heroes from Justice movement Uganda went through really hard times in prison, just because they stood up for a cleaner and better Earth as they made a protest at the parliament of Uganda on 15th of December demanding a halt to EACOP, a Deadly oil pipe line and they were remanded to Luzira maximum prison where they spent the festive seasons until 10th January were they were granted a bail

How Your Money Helps:

1. Getting Better: Your money goes to doctors and medicines to help them feel good again as they faced various tortures with brought about medical complications while they were in prison.

2. Legal Backup: It helps them fight for fairness, like having a good friend by their side.

3. Green Dreams: Funds support projects and actions aimed to stop a better earth for us all like fighting fossil fuels, among others making our world cleaner.

At the moment we are campaigning at schools to raise awareness for climate change and EACOP pipeline.

To give you and idea of the costs per school are (we travel to the biggest schools in de country)

Transport of members( 3 members) ; 150€ all together

Guest house costs (3days): 300€ all the three

Welfare interms of food and drinks both learners and members; 500€

Hired camera personnel , 3days ; 100€

Small pumplet/ handouts with EACOP information distributing over 50 per school and each pumplet is at 1€ = 50€

Banner purchased and use the same for all <3

TOTAL : 1,100€ per school.
