Helping With Ukraine Refugee Crisis

Donation protected
*** IMPORTANT UPDATE *** It is now over one year ago (March 7th, 2022) since I went out to support Ukraine in their fight against terrorist Russia, and I am now fundraising again for a second mission. The donations from my previous fundraising campaign helped to pay for hostels, food, clothes and luggage for Ukrainian refugees, as well as essential food, supplies and transportation for myself.Any donation is greatly appreciated. You can read the story of my previous trip below. ——— POLAND My name is Craig. I left my job and flew out from the UK to Poland on my own on March 7th, armed only with a backpack and sleeping bag after seeing the number of Ukrainian refugees desperately fleeing the conflict in their homeland. In the time I have been here, I have provided help at a 500 bed refugee centre at Full Market in the city of Rzeszów, which provides food, clothing, medicine and shelter for those in need - mostly women and children. I have also travelled further north to provide help at a humanitarian aid hub in Cieszanów, near the Budomierz-Hrushiv border crossing. A few weeks ago I started helping Ukrainian families, mothers and children relocate to sanctuary in the UK by connecting them with sponsors under the official ‘Homes For Ukraine’ government scheme. Following on from the above: I found the official documentation for the government scheme (in both English and Ukrainian). I’ve created a version with my own contact details on it and have set off on a personal mission across Poland (by train) to get the information into the refugee centres and train stations of 9 cities here: Rzeszów - Lublin - Łódź - Warsaw - Gdańsk - Bydgoszcz - Poznań - Wrocław - KrakówI also created a Facebook page and Telegram account to allow Ukrainian refugees to reach out for help to find a sponsor under our government scheme.I am now trying to raise funds to be able to continue my work here. If you are able to help in any way, no matter how small the donation, this will be greatly appreciated, and I will keep you updated on my progress here. ——— UKRAINE While I was in Poland working to find sponsors, I connected with so many Ukrainian people, especially in Lviv, so I decided to cross the border and come here to meet them face-to-face. I have a least two meetings here every day. I arrived in Lviv on the evening of May 3rd and just two hours later I witnessed the true reality that the Ukrainian people are living in. I was walking to my accommodation when I heard the sound of cruise missiles striking the railway just a few streets away from me (you may have seen on the news). Air raid sirens are echoing through the city day and night. As an individual, I have funded myself for 10 weeks with your help. This is my final push for funding to be able to compete my work here and get to the finish line - and perhaps beyond.
