Helping Victims of Hurricane Maria

As nearly everyone knows, Puerto Rico has just been devastated by a massive hurricane over the past two days. 100% of the island is without power, most of the island has no water source, and cell towers have been down in a large part with no timeline for repairs stated.
My name is Gabriel Garcia, I am from New York, NY and I plan to go to Puerto Rico on October 4th and stay through the 9th to help distribute emergency supplies (non-perishable food items, water, generators, etc.) to my family and their neighbors in Juncos and Caguas. I am raising as much money as I can to help my family members on my mother's side (aunts, uncles and cousins) and their neighbors in those affected areas get through these next few weeks and months.
None of the money will be raised will be for personal expenses. Every dime will be spent on emergency supplies such as food, water, generators, batteries, flashlights, etc. for my families and the families living in the surrounding areas. If you want your contributions to go to a specific item, leave that comment along with the donation and I will be sure to spend it as you request.
I will withdraw funds and begin making purchases for smaller items (non-perishable foods, batteries, flashlights, etc.) stateside to bring with my on my trip to Puerto Rico on October 4th. Larger items will be ordered via Amazon.com or other sites to be shipped directly to Puerto Rico in Caguas and Juncos. Any money not spent on items will go directly to either the American Red Cross' relief efforts, or to UnitedForPuertoRico.com.
I am just one person devastated by what I have seen and heard thus far, terrified by what more devastation we will discover once we regain communication with the island. I am going to do anything and everything in my power to help my family, their friends, and loved ones, weather this storm as best as possible.
