With hearts filled with sorrow yet also with gratitude, we wish to remember and honor the life of Saleh, the child who left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.

Saleh dreamed of things that might seem trivial to many, but to him, they meant everything: playing with friends, feeling free, and laughing like a child his age.

Saleh was ill before the war, but as you can see in his pictures, we were monitoring his condition with a specialist, and his health was stable. He was scheduled to travel abroad for treatment, but because of the war, he was prevented from doing so, and his specialist was killed. Most of the doctors left or were killed, so the child didn't receive the necessary treatment. His health deteriorated until we could no longer provide him with the proper care or the special food he needed due to malnutrition. All of this severely impacted his fragile health.

Today, his kindness, his smile, and his bright aspirations continue to inspire us every day.
