Saturday morning Wyatt was involved in a devastating and tragic accident while hunting with his grandfather. While loading up the truck one of the guns went off striking Wyatt in the back of the head. Wyatt was the airlifted to UNC.
The safety WAS on and the gun WAS deemed faulty by Randolph County Sheriffs Department.The family would like everyone to know that this accident was in no way due to carelessness or wreckless gun handling.
Wyatt will have a LONG road to recovery. RJ and Kaitlyn will need to be by his side constantly. They are trying to update everyone as they can but would like this time to be with their son.
The family is asking everyone to pray for healing and comfort in this difficult time.
We also all know bills do not stop in times like these, so if you can, please donate to assist with medical bills, food, household bills, etc.
If anyone would like they can send cards, flowers, blankets and stuffed animals to the hospital, anything to make him smile just call the hospital for where to send it to.
- Heather Holdaway is Wyatts grandmother and Heather will be withdrawing the funds to her personal bank account and delivering the funds to the family to assist in medical/ household bills. Heather has permission from the family and is in charge of all expenses.
