Hi! My name is Stuart K. Williams and I am coordinating a fundraiser on behalf of my very dear friend Richard Almonte De Jesus.
Richard is 50 years old and lives in Miami, Florida. Anyone who has the pleasure of knowing Richard is immediately drawn into a world of unrelenting friendship. He is genuine, caring and a supportive person, who is always ready to assist anyone in need. His heart is filled with joy and kindness and his spirit ready for life's adventures.
On December 10th 2020, Richard observed a lump on his upper thigh. After experiencing debilitating pain associated with the lump, a few weeks later he visited the hospital and had a biopsy. It was then that he received the devastating news that he has Metastatic Melanoma (stage 3 or 4).
He is currently in Jackson Hospital awaiting surgery scheduled for February 5, 2021. Unfortunately, having no health insurance, Richard will need significant financial assistance, along with your well wishes, advice and prayers to wage this medical battle and help him heal.
After surgery, Richard will need immunotherapy treatment (with an estimated cost of over $100, 000 per year). Anyone who has been unfortunate enough to become seriously ill with no health insurance knows all too well that the medical bills can limit treatment options and compound illness.
On behalf of his family and friends, I am asking you to kindly assist Richard in meeting his existing and forthcoming medical expenses and heal his body.
