Helping our #ForgottenOnes to Stay #InTheFight

I am excited that we are in our first year as a 501c nonprofit. I would love to have you on my list many years from now as one of our first supporters. It means a lot to me, and I appreciate your support and the effort to join our team in helping those forgotten ones on the street with mental health needs, addiction, and loneliness.

Most of us have been fortunate to have family and friends helping us along our journey through life. However, there are a lot of people not as fortunate as us with no one to help them.

This upcoming Holiday season help us be a part or our community to spread the love and generosity to those less fortunate than us.

2023 is our Foundations first year as a non-profit 501c, sixth year of given to our forgotten ones, which exists to provide essential resources to individuals experiencing homelessness. Our purpose is to help them sleep a little warmer and walk a little easier while at the same giving them a little love and hope. We want to let them know they are not forgotten.

For the past 6 years we have been helping the forgotten ones by giving out shoes, sleeping bags, snacks, & water placed in a mesh laundry bag and handed directly to each person.

We focus on giving these out during our colder months. We drive around late at night looking for those sleeping on the ground with little or nothing under them. We pull up to ensure they are ok and ask them what size shoes they wear. We then hand them a bag with their size shoes, sleeping bag, & snacks in it. To date, we have given out over 1,400 bags. I am struck again and again by how grateful they are for this small gesture. Their smiles and tears in their eyes make us want to help more and more because we are making a difference in their life with just a little #Godlylove and a bag. We want to reach many more people in need and are asking for your support and donations in helping us reach as many of our forgotten ones as possible.
