Get Miranda Back On Her Feet

Hi, its Chrissy. I have been trying to help Miranda. As everyone in our family knows, she lost her dad, Greg about 5 years ago leaving behind Miranda and Greg. Mirandas mom is not very stable or nice to her children. Miranda tried to stay in contact with her mom, but i think everyone in the family knows at least a little bit of the background with her. The only contact she has with Miranda is the occasional message Miranda receives from her calling her a tramp or slut. Greg got sick and Miranda lost her dad at a very important time in her life, when she graduated high school and was transitioning from being underage to being an adult. She ended up marrying Jeff and having two children. About a year ago Jeff was offered a job with a slight pay increase and the potential for a lot of overtime but the job was in Ohio. Jeff and Miranda decided to take the opportunity to try to secure their future more financially.

It was very hard for Miranda to leave. She hates living away from family and not being here for holidays. Since moving, they have realized and experienced being totally and completely independent of any help from family. Even for small things like a babysitter for something or a ride somewhere. Their car broke down over the summer, which they needed to fix so Jeff could continue working. Since then they have gotten more and more behind pushing bills off to pay whatever they can to have a place to live. As of tomorrow, she will be evicted with her husband and 2 small children if someone does not help her. Not only is this scary, but they do not have family there and they did not know anyone, so they literally have no place to go. They are a month behind on their rent. On the 24th they will get their phones turned off and lose contact with everyone. She does not have a parent to turn to for help. I know in our family there are many times as adults, we have still needed our parents, and we are fortunate to have at least 1 parent and in most cases 2 parents. I have needed my mom's help so many times, I honestly dont know where I would be if it were not for my mom. As a family, I am trying to raise enough money to help her get out of the endless cycle of bad luck they have been having. I know everyone is tight on money, but honestly if they get evicted, there is no way they will ever get enough money to recover. Even getting a deposit for rent would be near impossible, but even if they did, finding a place to rent to them with an eviction will be difficult. Miranda doesn't have a parent to ask for help. She doesn't get a birthday card or Christmas card with money in it from her dad every year to help her. My wish would be for our family to donate enough money to get them back on their feet. Uncle Greg's only wish was for his children to be ok. It was the only thing he worried about when he died. Miranda is so scared and distraught she thinks her kids would be better off without her.  While you read that and I write that, we know her children will not be better without her. We know hard times will pass. But her living thru it, without family or friends, she does not believe this. I can't imigine the stress being in her situation. Asking family for help has been completely my idea and she has no other options, so with her ok, i am asking for help for her. She feels like she has failed. Honestly I see such a strong person for finally asking for help instead of doing something to herself. I think i am going to set up a go fund me page. But we are asking if you can donate any amount of money to help a part of our family that is struggling?

I put the goal of 1500 because this would get them caught up on their bills and keep their apartment, and go grocery shopping.  Anything anyone can afford will help them tremendously.
