In the Bay Area alone, more than 870,000 people are struggling with food insecurity. Putting an end to hunger requires providing a workable solution to the problem of people not knowing where their next meal will come from and implementing interventions founded on an in-depth understanding of the conditions that put the Bay community at risk.

If we as a society allow even one person to go hungry, we have failed as a society. This is why 5sikhseva non-profit organization was founded: to solve hunger problems in the bay area through a community-helping-community approach involving the distribution of healthy, hot, freshly prepared FREE meals to people in need by bringing the kitchen to the community.

We've seen the fight and are on a mission to end hunger and make a difference. Today, the orange that feeds continues to serve nutritious, fresh, and hot meals to hundreds of hungry Bay Area residents. Our menu features fresh cuisine and regional ingredients. Importantly, our meal service is free, and we are happy to have served over 100,000 meals to date.

There aren't enough resources or mobile kitchens to meet the demand for wholesome, free meals. Recognizing the complexity of hunger in our community, we are appealing to our community members and well-wishers for assistance in acquiring resources such as trucks, food, and volunteers to feed more people in need.

To guarantee the success of our endeavor, we aim to raise $70,500. These contributions will be used to extend our food service for the next three months and offer 1,000 meals per week. We are requesting assistance from our well-wishers and friends through charity contributions.
