Helping Cas Heal: 14 Months of Treatment and Recovery
Donation protected
Update: 4/25/25
Today is Casandra's 3rd week of her first round of chemo. From what the doctors have said, this is when her symptoms will likely start to get bad. After today, she has 9 more weeks of this chemo treatment before some recovery time and then another 12 weeks of chemo, then more recovery before surgery to remove the lump and then she still may need radiation therapy.
When I said this would be a war, I meant it.

Today, Cas starts her chemotherapy. It's going to be an extremely tough day but we want everyone to know how much your kindness has meant during this mess. We greatly appreciate everyone who has donated to make sure I can feed Cas the most nutritious diet possible during her chemo. The fight is just now truly beginning.
Update: 4/2/25
Unfortunately, yesterday's oncology appointment was bad news and instead of the 8 months we were expecting, Cas's treatment time will be around 14 months. She's going to have to do multiple rounds of 12 week cycles of chemotherapy and at some point after either the 1st or 2nd cycle she'll be having surgery to remove the lump. This is going to be a far more difficult journey than we were preparing for so im updating the GoFundMe to reflect this. We both hope that this goes easier than we're expecting but the reality is there will be nothing easy about Cas's fight with breast cancer.
Original post:
There is no easy way to put this: my wife, Cas, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. We know many who know us will want to help, and this GoFundMe is meant to make coordinating that simpler as we navigate through her treatment and recovery. We know times are tough, but anything might help take some of the burden during this unfortunate time.
Her treatment and recovery are expected to be about 8 months, so we’re settling in for a pretty long fight. If you would like to know more, please reach out to me or Cas. Any of you who know Cas knows she doesn’t want her private medical information just out there, but she’ll tell you exactly what’s going on if you ask. If you can donate or just share this we’d both really appreciate anything you can do.
Thanks, y’all,
