Helping Ben Wheeler
Donation protected
My little brother Ben Wheeler needs some help. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 osteosarcoma. He lost his leg 8 years ago from this terrible illness. They said it was in full remission but it came back with a vengeance. He has a large mass growing in rib cage and another mass that is growing quickly near his diaphragm. This type of cancer is extremely aggressive and hard to treat. The tumors produce bone matter so they cause him a great deal of pain. We have spoken to MD Anderson Cancer center in Houston texas and they have an aggressive chemo treatment that has been proven to work for this form of cancer. He would be using this money to secure travel ,lodging and food for the next 40 days.
Ben is 31 years old and Father to two amazing and beautiful children. Ben age 6 and Janie age 9. He is too young to have his life cut short , so we are trying to do everything in our power to get him the treatment he needs. Things being the way they are we do not have the funds to get him there on our own. The situation is indeed dire and without immediate treatment the outlook is grim.
He is optimistic about his situation and puts on a brave face. For all that know him he is always laughing ,friendly and out going. Hes always willing to help others in need.
His appointment is set for the first week of december and he will be hospitalized for 5-6 days while they administer really high doses of chemotherapy. He will remain in Houston for 40 days for observation and further care. These funds will help secure him living accommodations, food and travel expenses.
Our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for any help and support that you are able to give. Once again thank you and God Bless.
