For most of our lives, Ate Che-che has been much more than a caregiver, she has been our second mother. We call her "Ate" - a term for an older sister, because she raised us from kindergarten through graduation. She poured her heart into our family, ensuring we were cared for, supported, and loved every single step of the way.

Now, the woman who spent decades taking care of everyone else needs us to take care of her.

As a devoted single mother, Ate Che-che has always worked tirelessly to provide for her own family. However, life took an unexpected turn last month when she was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer (Stage 2).

The road ahead is challenging. The prescribed treatments are intensive, and because of the physical toll they will take, she will be unable to work during this time. The weight of medical bills, combined with daily living expenses, has created a financial burden that no one should have to carry alone (especially while fighting for their health).
