Help Frontline Heroes

Donation protected
First Responders (EMT's & Paramedics) in Northern New Jersey are working tirelessly on the frontlines of the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only is Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in great demand, but also personal cleaning supplies, basic household items, and non-perishable food items. Due to the pandemic, state government officials have declared a state of emergency. Most essential stores have changed their hours and limiting shopping, making it extremely difficult for emergency personnel to shop.

The goal of Help Frontline Heroes is to obtain donations of these goods to assist the emergency personnel, both professional and volunteer.  Your donation will help us purchase laundry detergent, personal care items (soap, body wash, shampoo, ect), hand sanitizer, Isopropyl alcohol, basic household items (paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies), non-perishable food items as well as meals for the responders with priority going to help those who are sick with COVID-19-like symptoms and those quarantined at home.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and generosity in this unprecedented national emergency.

Help Frontline Heroes is organized by Shawn Pandolfi, EMT and Joanne Piccininni, MICP.

Shawn Pandolfi is an emergency medical technician and has been a part of the emergency services community for well over 20 years. Starting off as a volunteer in a small Bergen County, NJ community Shawn eventually worked for several local municipal governments and police agencies as a telecommunicator 9-1-1 operator, an Emergency Medical Dispatcher at several large regional medical dispatch centers as well as proudly serving the community with several large healthcare systems in Bergen and Morris Counties in New Jersey as an emergency medical technician. Shawn is also a public safety telecommunicator instructor as well as a fire communications officer and emergency medical dispatcher instructor. Shawn also gives back to the community though teaching cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to healthcare providers and laypersons of the public.

She has been active in EMS for the last 27 years in northern NJ, also having held several leadership positions. Joanne’s focus is always the well-being of her patients and EMS colleagues. She is passionate about this project, Help Frontline Heroes, because she is witnessing first-hand the sacrifices NJ’s first-responders are making every day throughout this pandemic.
