A Home for my parents-ALMOST THERE

I never thought I would be starting a Go Fund Me account but desperate times call for desperate measures. My Mom and Dad need help. My Mom was widowed when I was 8 yrs old but this man has changed my life. He has been nothing but good to my Mom and Me and he is now very sick. He has a hereditary neurological brain disorder called Huntington’s Disease (HD). HD takes away your ability to talk, walk and think…it’s Parkinson’s, ALS, Alzheimer’s and Schizophrenia all in one disease and there is no cure. After he was diagnosed 7 years ago he lost his job and my Mom lost hers shortly after. They had to file bankruptcy and lost everything they worked so hard for. My Mom is now his 24/7 caregiver and also is trying to raise HD awareness to help find a cure for this terrible disease.  They live on social security only and that barely covers the bills for them. They’ve been renting a house and now the landlord wants to raise their rent and they cant afford it so the landlord decided they are selling the house and they have to be out by Aug. 31! They cannot afford to pay a huge rent payment and so far are not having any luck finding something they can afford with what their needs are…a handicap ready home! My Dad is getting very anxious that they won’t find anything and will be out on the street and even though my Mom assures him every day that is NOT going to happen he just doesn’t have the ability to understand. I live 1000 miles away from them and they are in Florida and are very happy there. He doesn’t want to leave Florida becasue he has a specialized doctor there for him and because he says it’s too cold for him anywhere else. They are in their 70’s and they lived in a 55+ mobile home park a few years ago not far from his doctor and he really liked it there. He felt safe there and still has good friends and neighbors there so he wants to go back and live in that community very bad but you cannot rent a home there as it is a resident owned community. So what I am asking is that they get the help they need for a down payment on a mobile home. Any additional money will help alleviate some medical bills Huntingtons Disease has caused them.
