Raising Funds for Darla & Katie

My name is Christine Brandt and I had the privilege of attending Cal State Stanislaus with your friend (and mine) Darla Bello-Pimlott. While time and geoography may have put some distance between us her friendship and kindness to me has never been forgotten. I find myself now compelled to launch this campaign from just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after learning what amounts to simply devastating news last night.
On 10/09/2017 Darla Bello-Pimott and her sweet daughter Katie lost their entire home to the Tubbs Fire currently burning in Sonoma, California. Imagine losing everything you have collected and held dear to your heart in an instant.
Gone.
Clothing, housewares, shoes, toys, electronics, bedding, everything.... but also try to imagine losing all the photos of your child, pictures of your parents and relatives who may have left this earth, drawings saved from kindergarten projects, even the lock of hair saved from your child's first haircut. Imagine having to start all over when you can't even fathom where to begin.
I am asking that you please might consider giving what you can, no matter how small the donation. Let's help Darla and Katie as they set off on the road back from such an incomprehensible tragedy. While Darla works on securing a new home, we can provide her with the tools and resources that might serve to lighten the burden that she is no doubt shouldering at this very moment. Darla is the sole beneficiary of this Go Fund Me campaign and will have direct access to these funds which she will utilize for replacing many of the items lost in the fire and supporting her and Katie's immediate needs while they are sheltered in a local church.
