Help Callie and Buttons mom!

Hello my name is Hope. The dogs pictured here are Callie (top) and Buttons (bottom) I met them and their mom Zanetta a little over a month ago. I learned through a mutual friend that they were homeless and had been living in her car for a long time. I sat and talked to Zanetta and learned that we had gone to high school together. She told me about how she had lost her job due to health reasons and then her apartment. I knew then I wanted to do what I could to help them.

I reached out to friends and family on social media and by doing that I have been able to have them stay at a local hotel instead of their car.

Zanetta has a caseworker who is trying to find her and the dogs housing but it has not been an easy task. While she works on possible housing I am trying to extend their stay at the hotel. If I can I know they would be in a safe place, have a warm bed to sleep in, a hot shower, and she would be able to prepare nutritious meals. This opportunity also allows her to be able to spend some family time with her two boys.

If you can make a donation to help keep them safe it would mean more to all of us than I could put into words. It breaks my heart that someone who used to have a steady income and secure place to live now finds herself and her dogs living in their car.
