Good day sweet sisters in Christ,
We hope this email finds you doing well during this season of Lent, amidst everything that is going on in our world, but hopeful and assured there are brighter days ahead.
Kindly, sending this message to reach out for a little bit of help.
One of our sisters is in need, you know how her as our beloved Therese Caffey During the winter storm, her apartment suffered floor damage. She had to evacuate, and is currently living with one of her goddaughters.
Her apartment complex management is replacing the floor tile, however, there is a cushion tile that was previously installed in one section of her apartment that served a cushion providing greater support when she sadly has a fall.
Lydia Maese and her sons were kind enough to install such cushion tile previously.
This time, taking advantage her floor tile is being replaced, we feel, it would be best to install the cushion tile throughout her entire apartment. Again, this cushion goes on top of the normal flooring, and helps prevents hard falls and getting hurt too badly. This literally acts as a cushion when she falls.
The cost of this new tile for material and labor is approximately $1400.
In addition, we recently found out through Therese's goddaughter, Therese is in need of dentures. We are approximating the cost to be $400.
We are kindly asking for your help to assist in funding these expenses if you are able to.
For those of you that know Therese, you know she has been touched by the Holy Spirit, and is an instrument of God’s work. She has helped to console so many of us in times of dire need, and helps to get us through challenging times with just the right words.
Tomorrow, Saturday, March 13, if your time permits, Lydia Maese is looking for several volunteers to help move furniture around in Therese's apartment. The time will be 1:00 p.m. Therese's address is 801 S. Madison Ave, Dallas, TX 75208. You will need an access code to get in. Please reach out to Lydia Maese at [phone redacted] if you can make it tomorrow.
