Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a deep hope for help. Our sweet boy, Zayne, just 3 years old, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on Thursday 15th May 2025 turning his families world upside down in an instant.

Zayne was immediately admitted to hospital and was told if intense chemotheraphy treatments didn’t commence that day we would loose our little boy within 3 weeks!

Within 24 hours of being in hospital Zayne had undergone surgery, had a picc line put in, had 22 samples taken, small portion of his hip bone teasted, multiple blood tests and needles and 5 types of chemotherapy!

Zayne is a bright, loving little soul who brings joy to everyone around him. His laughter fills their home, his curiosity knows no bounds, and his energy is infectious. Now, he faces the toughest fight of his life, and we are determined to give him the best possible care and support throughout this journey.

Immediately after receiving the phone call, Matt, Zaynes dad, left Victoria where he lived and worked and travelled back to the John Hunter Hospital to be by Zayne side and help with the other kids. And support Mykaela . Without Matt working it puts a huge financial strain on Mykaela who is now Zaynes full time carer . And leaves them to cope on Mykaela’s single parent payment.

Zaynes siblings also struggling massively with mum and their youngest brother away seeking treatment, Ruby, Colt, and Tanner are navigating a challenging time. The news that their baby brother is battling cancer has turned their world upside down, adding to the emotional strain in an already difficult situation.

Leukaemia treatment is long and incredibly grueling. Between hospital visits, chemotherapy, medications, and time off work, the financial burden is overwhelming. Any donation, big or small, will go directly towards Zayne’s expenses and aftercare, daily support, and ensuring he receives the best treatment possible.

The family is rallying together, but the road ahead will be long and demanding. They need our support to help ease the financial burden.
