Santa Rosa fire Rebuild Mey's House

On the early morning of October 9 my dear friend and colleague, Yen Mey Fung saw her house go up in flames. 

The Tubbs fire near Santa Rosa has burned more than 35,000 acres.

The vast devastation occurred in just over a few hours and made this fire one of the worst in California history, with Gov. Jerry Brown declaring a state of emergency in that region.

While many areas were affected. The area where Mey's lived appeared to be particularly hard hit, with numerous homes on fire.

Thankfully she and her beloved dog Milo, were able to escape the fire, but the damage to the house is extensive and essentially all belongings are either lost or heavily damaged from smoke.

Mey is an amazing clinician, coworker, and friend. She will go above and beyond what is required for her patients. Now she needs our help.
