Hi, my name is Kori and my brother Joshua and his wife Abby were expecting their first baby due in November, but that sweet baby decided it was time to come July 30th instead! Born on the side of the road on the way to the hospital in Abby’s friend’s car. Her breathing was shallow, but paramedics were able to keep her stable while on the way to the hospital. Luna Evangeline Wiseman was born at 24 weeks and 3 days, weighing 1lb, 10oz, and 13 inches long. She is intubated to allow her little body to rest and lungs to further develop. Her care team is amazed and speechless at how good she is doing! She is expected to be in the NICU in Georgia for a good amount of time, receiving treatment to help her body grow strong and healthy.

We are asking those who want to help to give whatever amount to help with the expenses Abby and Josh will incur over the next several months of traveling back and forth from NC to GA. Our prayer and hope is that eventually she will be strong and stable enough to be transferred to a hospital near home with doctor and insurance approval. God has provided so perfectly so far, and we trust that He will continue to do so. Thank you!
