Sending holiday love to Mike‘s family

This was created by one of Lauren's friends to help take a little off her plate as they go through this tough time. Mike is a hard worker, loving father who didn't hesitate to take on Jacob as his own son when he met Lauren. Being diagnosed with this illness has not only kept him from work but from doing what he loves the most, loving on his boys and fiancé.Mike has been the sole provider for his fiancé Lauren and their 2 beautiful boys Jacob age 7 and Lucas age 3. Jacob loves basketball, fort nite, reading, and board games and Lucas loves Paw Patrol Fire Trucks, Police Cars and Ryans Toy Review. The boys spend countless hours with their dad after he gets off work playing with him and enjoying all of those fun things.  About 1 month ago now , Mike was diagnosed with stage 5 renal disease after a trip to the emergency room. Since that day he has been undergoing dialysis three times a week every week and will soon begin chemotherapy. Since beginning treatment unexpectedly Mike has not been able to return to work which has put him and his family in an extremely tough financial position. They are struggling paying for their daily living necessities and now the increasing medical debt that is beginning to pile up- the ER visit, many tests, treatments 3 times a week at the hospital, transportation, and medication.  The doctors are uncertain how Mike will respond to treatment much less when he will be able to return to work or be well enough to take care of his boys again.  At a time of fear and uncertainty, both for their family and financial situation, we are hoping to bring a little relief and a little Christmas cheer to help this family cover daily expenses, put food on the table, and give Jacob and Lucas a Christmas they deserve with their dad.  The family appreciates your thought, prayers, and anything you can donate.
