UPDATE: THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE!! We have done it and met the goal in less than 24 hours. I can’t believe the sheer amount of love I have received from you all! The bodyboarding community is so special, really you are all legends! I’ll write a proper press release soon on the socials! I'm so humbled ❤️ A few people have asked if they can still donate next week at payday so i will leave this open a little longer but the laptop is fully funded. Please only donate more if you really want to, if you do it will go towards everyday living costs for me and my family.

Emergency laptop fund to help We Bodyboard continue operations.

For those that don’t know.. We Bodyboard is just me, a guy from the UK called Jason. No office, no team, just myself, a laptop and a small army of contributors that have joined me over the years. The “We” part of the brand is simply meant to symbolise all of us, together, for the sport that we love!

Now the problem, the 2013 Macbook Pro that I do EVERYTHING on is breathing it's last breath. It turns off mid battery life, the fans sound like a rocket engine when i simply open a 4k Youtube video, I cannot update any of the important editing applications, the keyboard is knackered and i have to borrow a laptop to export long edits.

As you all probably all know, there is very little money in our industry and We Bodyboard is no different, i can work up to 12 hours a day with no day off and still make below minimum wage. That coupled with the arrival of my little Grommie George, i simply cannot afford to replace it. This puts We Bodyboard in danger of ceasing operations until funding is found.

I have asked for an amount that would cover a top of the range MacBook Pro + the fees from GoFundMe, this would future proof We Bodyboard for the next 10 years at least.
