Help Vincent Battle Pancreatic Cancer

Hi everyone, my name is Alyssa Parvesse. I'm asking for help for my dad, Vincent. In May of this year, we found out my dad had a mass on his pancreas. They did a biopsy; nothing came back but fatty cells, so they suggested removing the mass ASAP to test it in case it is cancerous. On June 6th, he went in for surgery. He came out okay but now faces struggles with breathing and has been given an oxygen tank.

We found out yesterday, 6/16, two days before his 60th, that the mass was indeed cancerous. They do believe they got it all out, but he will still need to start chemo in 5 weeks after he heals from this surgery. Invasive pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, borderline stage 2.

Between being out of work, the hospital bills and copays from the surgery alone, my dad has been running very short, and now knowing he has to start chemo it has all been overwhelming for him. His short term disability will not cover anything because it was a preexisting before the policy reinstated so we are not sure what to do from here.
