Help Villasenor Family Rebuild Life After Fire

Family and friends are starting this GoFundMe to help the Villasenor family who lost everything in a house fire this June. The family narrowly escaped the flames that took all their worldly possessions and two house pets. They are grateful beyond measure that no one was injured but are devastated at the thought of what it will take to rebuild their lives and put together a new normal for them and their children.

Replacing everything is a daunting task to even think about. From toothpaste to technology - it is just so much. The Villasenors have 3 school-aged children at home. Imagine what it would be like to wake up one morning and have only the clothes on your back. You would like to call a friend but have no phone, you would like to make breakfast for the kids but have no food, or pans or stove to make it on even if you had food, you would like to brush your teeth but have no toothpaste, or toothbrush for that matter, you would like to write a list but have no pen. The community is generously stepping up with furniture donations, used clothing, etc. but monthly budgets are so much more as we all well know.

The Villasenors are a hardworking, quiet family, good community members, and always ready with a smile. They are the kind of family that would have a hard time asking for a ride home but would share everything they owned if they thought you needed it. The world is blessed to have them here among us.

They will need money to survive through this month and the next few months paying bills, feeding the kids, gas money and acquiring the very basics of life where donated items fall short.
