Help VC Silver Circuits Compete at FIRST World Championship

We are the VC Silver Circuits #16158, a passionate team of young innovators dedicated to robotics, teamwork, and making a lasting impact in our community. Our mission goes beyond competition—we work to inspire and mentor the next generation of STEM leaders, helping students of all backgrounds discover their potential in engineering, programming, and problem-solving.

On February 22, 2025, we won the 1st Place Inspire Award at the FIRST Nevada FTC State Championship for the fourth year in a row—a testament to our commitment to innovation, outreach, and Gracious Professionalism. This prestigious award recognizes teams that best embody the values of FIRST, excelling not only in robotics but in fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and impact.

Thanks to this achievement, we are once again heading to the FIRST World Championship in Houston, TX, this April! Only about 3% of teams worldwide qualify for this event, and we are honored to represent Nevada on the global stage.

Our Impact on the FIRST Community

Our team is more than just robotics—we are a family of innovators, mentors, and role models dedicated to bringing youth together through STEM. Over the years, we have:

✅ Mentored and supported local teams, helping younger students develop skills in coding, CAD, and engineering design.

✅ Hosted outreach events and innovation sessions, fostering collaboration between teams and strengthening the FIRST community.

✅ Built inspiring projects beyond competition, including a hot air balloon wheelchair costume for a local teen, delivering STEM kits to underprivileged youth in Africa, and creating interactive STEM exhibits that spark curiosity in the next generation.

How You Can Help

Thanks to generous grants and sponsors this season, we can cover some of our travel costs to compete at Worlds. However, we still need to raise $13,000 to cover travel, lodging, registration, and robot improvements. Your support will help us continue making a difference—not just for our team, but for the broader FIRST community and future STEM leaders.
