Before I could even read, my parents took me to the library. It became a captivating place for me, where I could go to learn and improve my vocabulary, while using my imagination. As I grew older and continued my passion for reading, I realized that not all people have the same access to libraries. This is a problem because libraries are important for improving literacy. Literacy is important because it creates a way for people to get jobs and provide for their families, and I am starting this chapter to make an impact on the community of Columbus.

Everyone's Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting literacy and a love of reading by providing communities in need with free, 24/7 libraries and books. By installing mini-libraries, our mission is to eliminate barriers to books such as library membership requirements, late fees, transportation issues, and limited operating hours.

We aim to provide easy access to books at shelters, schools, and neighborhoods in the Columbus, Georgia area, and to inspire a lifelong joy of reading in people of all ages.
